John Hufnagel is a Canadian football coach and former professional quarterback. He is currently the head coach of the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Prior to his hiring to the Stampeders on December 3, 2007, he was most recently the offensive coordinator of the New York Giants of the National Football League from 2004 until December 26, 2006.

Hufnagel was the 14th-round draft choice of the Denver Broncos in the 1973 NFL Draft. There he would play for three seasons before beginning a 12-year career in the Canadian Football League with the Calgary Stampeders (1976-1979), the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1980-1983 and 1987), and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1984-1986).
