Mr. Paul Clark was a champion of the development of the agency system in insurance and fostered high standards of performance in all sections of the business.
As a founder of the American College of Life Underwriters and a trustee and officer during its entire 41-year existence, he exercised profound influence in developing professionalism in life insurance. He was instrumental in encouraging Solomon S. Huebner to author the landmark text, Life Insurance.
Recognized as one of the most successful salesmen and general agents in the history of life insurance, Paul Clark rose from agent to chairman of the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company in Massachusetts during a life-long career.
Ken C. Calwell has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Papa Murphy’s Holdings, Inc. since December 2011. Mr. Calwell has been the President of Papa Murphy’s International, LLC (formerly Papa Murphy’s International Inc.) since June 6, 2011 and also its Chief Executive Officer since December 31, 2011.
Mr. Calwell served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Food Innovation Officer of Wendy’s International, Inc., a public company, from July 2008 to June 2011. Mr. Calwell served as an Executive Vice President of Build the Brand at Dominos Pizza Inc., from July 2001 to May 2008 and served as its Chief Marketing Officer until May 2008. Before joining Domino’s Pizza, Inc., Mr. Calwell served as the Vice President of New Product Development at Wendy’s International, Inc. from October 1998 to June 2001. He served as Executive Vice President of Research & Development at Domino’s Pizza.
He joined Papa Murphy’s with over 20 years of leadership experience at large quick service restaurant chains. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Wendy’s International where he was accountable for all Brand Marketing, Advertising, New Product Development, Pricing, Field Marketing, and Research and Development. Mr. Calwell served as Vice President of New Product Marketing, Research & Testing of Wendy’s International Inc. from 1998 to June 2001. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Calwell served as a Senior Director of Marketing–food service for the Frito Lay division of PepsiCo Inc. and from 1988 to 1996, he served in various marketing positions for PepsiCo’s Pizza Hut division, including Senior Director of Marketing from 1995 to 1996 and The Pillsbury Company.
George Myles Cordell Fisher is an American business executive. He served as the chief executive officer and chairman of Eastman Kodak Company from 1993 to 2000.
Prior to joining Kodak, Fisher worked at Motorola, Inc. from 1976 to 1993 and was named president and chief executive officer in 1988 and chairman and CEO in 1990.
Before joining Motorola, George was involved in research and development at Bell Laboratories for ten years. Fisher retired as a senior advisor at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company after serving from 2003 to 2014.
Clifford L. Dochterman served as the President of Rotary International from 1992 to 1993. Cliff became a Trustee of The Rotary Foundation from 1993 to 1999 and was a Chairman of the Rotary Foundation in 1997 to 1998. Cliff is attributed to the phrase, “Real Happiness is Helping Others.”
For his part in Rotary International endeavors, Dr. Dochterman has received Rotary International’s Distinguished Service Award. For service roles over a period of more than forty years in the Boy Scouts of America, the organization has recognized him with two of its highest honors, the Silver Beaver and Sliver Antelope awards. He also served the Stockton (California) Chamber of Commerce and the California Council for the Humanities in Public Policy. Served as Vice President at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, Dr. Dochterman previously held administrative positions with the Education Commission of the States in Colorado and at the University of California in Berkeley. He has published a number of articles on higher education.
B. F. “Bev” Dolan is credited with being one of the founders of the EZ-Go Golf Car. The EZ- Go golf car completely changed the golf industry by making golf rounds faster and replaced the caddie for the same price. In 2012 Beverly Dolan was awarded the Ernie Sabayrac Award for his contributions to the golf industry.
Charles W. “Chuck” Durham was a civil engineer, built-environment pioneer, noted philanthropist, and civic leader in Nebraska and Iowa.
Chuck was one of Omaha’s outstanding residents. He was a community leader, visionary, philanthropist, businessman, and family man. He loved the City of Omaha, and the Omaha community loved Chuck and Margre Durham for their humble, genuine ways, in addition to their many gifts to the city.
Chuck Durham was raised in Ames, Iowa and attended Iowa State University, where he acquired two important assets–a degree in engineering and his wife and lifelong companion, Margre Henningson. He joined the Omaha-based engineering firm of Margre’s dad and built the firm into one of America’s largest engineering firms–HDR Inc.
HDR Inc., under the leadership of Chuck Durham, became an international powerhouse architectural and engineering firm, designing medical, military, and public works projects around the world. One area of expertise of the firm was designing hospitals and medical facilities, and many of the Omaha hospitals, notably Omaha Methodist Hospital were designed by HDR Inc.
The Durham Research Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in midtown Omaha is one of the most advanced medical research centers in the world, but it is just one of the facilities in Omaha that benefited from the generosity of Chuck and Margre Durham. The Henry Doorly Zoo, the Durham Museum, and the Durham Science Center at the University of Nebraska–Omaha are among many facilities that Chuck Durham brought to reality.
Robert Edward “Bob” Diamond, Jr. is an American banker and former group chief executive of the British bank, Barclays Plc. In 2010, he became its Deputy Group Chief Executive; and in January 2011, succeeded John Varley as Group Chief Executive of Barclays.
Charles Kimball Fletcher was an American banker and member of the United States House of Representatives from California for two years; one term (1947 – 1949). Charles founded the Home Federal Savings & Loan Association in 1934, where he was president until 1959.
Patrick Foley was the President of Hyatt Regency Hotels for nine years (1977 – 1986). He joined the Hyatt team in 1962 and worked his way up to vice president in and 1972 and then president in 1977.
John M. Foraker has been the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Annie Homegrown Foods since 2004.
For over 20 years, Mr. Foraker has held various management positions with members of the company’s corporate family. From 1994 until 1998, Mr. Foraker served as President of Napa Valley Kitchens, Inc.
