Trace Armstrong is an American football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League for 15 seasons from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. Armstrong played college football for both Arizona State University and the University of Florida, and he was recognized as an All-American.
A first-round pick in the 1989 NFL Draft, Armstrong played professionally for the Chicago Bears, the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders of the NFL. Armstrong was formerly the president of the NFL players’ union, and he currently works as a sports agent.
William Lee Austin was an American football player (offensive guard) and coach in the National Football League. He played as a lineman for the New York Giants for seven seasons and was the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers (1966-1968) and the Washington Redskins in 1970.
James Bailey was the Executive Vice President of the Baltimore Ravens. He led the effort to obtain a newly renovated stadium for the Browns in Cleveland and, when those efforts proved fruitless, successfully negotiated for the relocation of the franchise to Baltimore for the construction of a new stadium. He oversaw the construction of the new stadium, on time and within its $220 million budget. Bailey also directed the procurement of $185 million long term financing for the Ravens.
Sam Baker was an American football player in the National Football League who played in 1953 and from 1956 to 1969. While he would play several positions, he was best known for being a punter and kicker and was a four time Pro Bowler.
Terry Baker is a former American football and basketball player. He played college football and college basketball at Oregon State University. Baker played as a quarterback for the Oregon State Beavers football team from 1960 to 1962, winning the Heisman Trophy as senior. In the spring of his senior year, he played in the Final Four of the 1963 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament with the Oregon State Beavers men’s basketball team.
To date, Baker is the only athlete to win a Heisman Trophy and play in the Final Four. He was the first overall pick in the 1963 NFL draft and played with the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League from 1963 to 1965. He then played for one season in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Eskimos.
Baker was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1982.
